WP2 Dissemination of The Results ICDAM7

Washington, DC June 5-7, 2009

The IDAMES dissemination workshop, will be held on June 4th from 4 pm to 7 pm, at the International Conference on Diet and Activity Methods (ICDAM7), in Washington DC -USA (www.icdam.org).

The meeting will give the opportunity to take a close look on the state of art of the assessment of dietary habits in the epidemiological studies (WP4), allowing the IDAMES working group to present preliminary results of the pilot study (WP5) and to discuss methodological issues related to dietary assessment tools.

Since one of the goals of the IDAMES project is the publication of Standard Operating Procedures for the assessment of diet in epidemiological studies, the planned SOPs for the Food Propensity Questionnaire and the 24h-Diet recalls will be presented (WP6). Leaflets will be available as precious allies for dissemination of results (WP2).

Given the recognised importance of the ICDAM conference, the workshop will offer a stimulus for further progress of the IDAMES achievements.
